Last night, I had the opportunity to watch a documentary that truly shook me.
It focused on the labor exploitation and animal cruelty in the luxury fashion industry. Seeing the inhumane conditions in which some people work, as well as the suffering of animals used for certain materials, left me feeling distressed and discontent.

As the owner of a jewelry brand, I felt particularly affected by the images I saw. Witnessing how some well-known brands take advantage of cheap labor and unethical practices to produce their products made me deeply question the kind of brand I want to be.
It's easy to succumb to the temptation to cut costs and maximize profits, especially in such a competitive industry as luxury fashion. But at what cost? Are we willing to sacrifice human rights and animal welfare in the pursuit of economic gain?
For me, the answer is a resounding no. I don't want my jewelry brand to be part of that chain of exploitation and suffering. I don't want my products to be tainted with the injustice and pain of those who made them.
That's why I'm committed to ensuring that every piece of jewelry I produce is ethically and sustainably sourced. From the origin of the materials to the working conditions in our production facilities, I am committed to ensuring that the highest standards of ethics and social responsibility are upheld.
I know that this commitment may mean higher costs and effort, but for me, the integrity of my brand and the well-being of all people and animals involved in its production are worth it.
Therefore, I want to invite all of you, my dear readers, to reflect on the kind of brands we support with our purchases. Let's choose brands that value ethics and sustainability as much as quality and design. Together, we can make a difference and build a world where fashion and beauty are not in conflict with justice and compassion.
As the owner of a jewelry brand, I am committed to being part of the solution, not the problem. And you?
